This was made using L-6 or O-1 saw-blade steel. The handles are a book-matched pair of black walnut scales cut in house. The center pin is hand turned fossil ivory. This is my least favorite type to make at present, because I enjoy forging more than any job in the shop. Nice though...
Teresas lil' paring knife.
An old boning blade was cut to task and a bit of the free mahogany helps it along.
Buds custom skinner
This knife is made from w 120 planer blade steel (Very good steel) has natural box elder burl scales, and black 8-ball bolsters. I worked hard to use these but I think it worked out great. The leather has a bit of a downturn to more precisely fit the blade This is the only photo I have of this knife finished .
